Exclusion Zone

Exclusion Zone is a live audiovisual performance extending the speculative world of dark site, confronting the industrial body of the infrastructure that sustains it. Where dark site imagined the silent, unlit architecture of autonomous data centres, Exclusion Zone turns toward their violent material reality - substations, power lines, and the raw electrical force required to keep computation alive. Sound becomes infrastructural and weaponised: ear-splitting frequencies stand in for the energy networks humans can no longer safely enter. The performance imagines these zones as sites of exclusion in the literal sense - spaces built for machines, hostile to the bodies that built them.
